General EVENT INFORMATION
- Mississippi FIRST® LEGO® League teams will compete in one qualifier during the SUPERPOWERED season.
- Teams will be assigned to qualifiers in mid-October. Coaches will have a window of time to request another date if there is a conflict.
- There will be two types of events: qualifiers and a single Championship.
- Teams advance from qualifiers to Championship. Twenty-two teams will compete at the Championship.
- Qualifiers will be scheduled in January 2023 and February 2023.
- To be eligible to participate in any event, all the team members and coaches must have signed consent and release forms. Teams without completed forms will be unable to register - no exceptions
- In addition, coaches must have completed the Youth Protection Screening in order to compete.
- Teams must adhere to the Participation Rules of FIRST® LEGO® League.
- Teams are not registered until payment or a purchase order is received.
- Qualifier registration fee is $65.
- Championship registration fee is $100.
