event cancellation policy

Sometimes events are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.  If an event is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled or done remotely, advancing teams will be chosen by lottery.  NOTE:  Only teams with a paid registration are eligible to advance.   Event registrations are nonrefundable.  

Qualifying Events

Mississippi teams will be assigned to qualifiers by the Mississippi Program Delivery Partner in either late October or early November.  Following a qualifier assignment, coaches will have a week to notify the Mississippi Program Delivery Partner if the assigned qualifier date will ​not work.  Following qualifier assignment, an invoice for the registration will be emailed to the coaches.  Prompt payment is requested.  Once payment is received, the team is considered registered for the event.  Qualifying events will be posted on the Season Calendar as dates and venues are confirmed.  The current registration fee for a qualifier is $65 per team.  Teams may attend one qualifier.  Teams competing in December qualifiers will have an advancement rate of 65%.  Teams competing in January qualifiers will have an advancement rate of 35%.

team Rosters & Consents

All teams are required to have two adult coaches who have passed a youth protection screening.  All students competing at an event must have an electronically signed Consent and Release form signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Coaches are required to hand in a Team Roster printed from the team DASHBOARD when checking in at an event.
